Master of Occupational Therapy (Musculoskeletal Conditions, Neurosciences) is a two-year postgraduate program designed to develop advanced clinical expertise in assessing and treating individuals with physical, neurological, or developmental challenges. The course focuses on restoring and enhancing daily living and work skills through therapeutic activities, particularly for patients with musculoskeletal injuries (e.g., fractures, arthritis) and neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease).
Students learn evidence-based practice, functional assessment, therapeutic intervention planning, assistive technology use, and patient-centered care strategies. The curriculum includes clinical training, research methodology, and hands-on rehabilitation in hospital and community settings. Graduates are prepared for roles in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, schools, mental health clinics, and private practice, contributing to the holistic recovery and independence of patients.
